PROJECT 2 : EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR RENDERING (3DS MAX)

PROCESS OF RENDERING:

1) Importing Revit file into 3DSMAX.

2) Placing DOME light for surrounding light.

3) Adding HDRI Map onto dome light to mimic natural surrounding lighting.

4) Placing camera to get wanted view and rendering range.


5) Adjusted camrera radius and ISO

6) Test rendering using VRAY to see view and lighting intensity. 

7) Applied Material map using vRaymtl

8) Applied Glass materuial by turning reflect and refract maps to white colours

9) Applied materials onto selections within model & adding furnitures downloaded on flying architecture

10) Test rendering to see material scales and etc. & lighitng.

11) Added sun for stronger reflections which dome light fails to acheive.

12) Added plane light onto window at room which is used as interior render.

13) Test rendering on interior space.

14) Applied plane to act as ground (grass)

15) Applied map, normal maps, bumps, relflects, gloss maps.

16) Test render to test grass qualities.

17) Set render resolution to 1280 x 720px

18) Added GI environment for more realistic reflections and lighting.

19) Adjusted irradance map to high for better quality lighting.

20) Final render view.

21) Rendering of interior view

22) Texture map to be used to create more depth on corners of model.

23) Imported render into photoshop for post production

24) Render after post production. added textures on walls, sky, human figures and trees.

25) Imported interior render into photoshop

26) Final post production on lightroom. Added photo filters.
